SMS Call to Action and Consent

Wireless Watchman™ is a closed-loop operational monitoring and alerting service. It is not a public SMS subscription service, marketing program, promotional campaign, lead-generation service, or advertising platform.

Wireless Watchman™ sends SMS notifications only to authorized personnel designated by a customer organization for a specific monitored deployment. Recipients may include facility managers, maintenance personnel, security personnel, operations staff, system administrators, emergency contacts, and other authorized responders responsible for monitored sensors, equipment, facilities, assets, environmental conditions, or security conditions.

Customer organizations are required to obtain and maintain recipient consent before submitting a mobile phone number for Wireless Watchman™ SMS notifications. After consent has been obtained, an authorized customer administrator enrolls the recipient by providing the recipient's mobile phone number for operational alert delivery.

Enrollment in Wireless Watchman™ SMS notifications occurs only through customer-administrator designation and recipient consent. Wireless Watchman™ does not permit public SMS enrollment, public signup forms, keyword-based subscriptions, marketing lists, purchased contact lists, or unsolicited messaging.

Recipients receive operational and transactional SMS notifications generated by monitored sensors, alarm conditions, device status changes, environmental events, communication failures, restoration events, escalation rules, and other monitored system conditions. No marketing, promotional, fundraising, advertising, or solicitation messages are sent through Wireless Watchman™.

Wireless Watchman™ messages are transactional and operational in nature. They are not used for advertising, marketing, promotions, fundraising, sales solicitation, or lead generation.

Recipient enrollment process

SMS recipients are enrolled using the following process:

  1. A customer organization deploys Wireless Watchman™ to monitor sensors, equipment, facilities, assets, environmental conditions, or security conditions.
  2. The customer organization identifies authorized personnel responsible for receiving operational notifications and responding to monitored events.
  3. The customer organization informs each recipient that Wireless Watchman™ SMS notifications may be sent regarding alarms, monitored conditions, device status changes, escalation events, and operational alerts.
  4. The customer organization obtains the recipient's consent before submitting the recipient's mobile phone number for enrollment.
